Yeah I was thinking the same thing.  I&#039;m hoping that after the initial port I can take a pretty standardized approach to refactoring it so it&#039;s more standards-based.    Thanks for the encouragement :)</description>

		<description>Even as disconnected as I am from what&#039;s hot and trendy in the Web 2.0 space these days, I can tell by your assessment that the sample app sounds like a turn-off. I imagine that it suffered from being constructed by people who understood Java in the middle tier but not Java in the web tier (or maybe they just don&#039;t care).

As always, you put the &quot;@$$&quot; in assessment. :)
